그것은 물론 리눅스이겠지만, 그 다음은 맥이 아닐까요? 수학자들을 만나 보면 윈도우즈 보다는 맥을 선호한다는 것은 진작부터 느꼈던 바입니다. 그 이유야 자명(trivial)해서 설명하기가 부끄럽습니다만, Cox의 말을 빌리자면 다음이 그 이유 중 하나입니다:
“If you asked a physicist, ‘What’s the ideal laptop?’ they would say a UNIX machine that runs things like PowerPoint or Adobe Photoshop,” says Cox. “That’s what everyone wants. And that’s what the Mac is.”
